Digital Versus Printed Multilingual Dictionary: Developing Young Learners' English Literacy

This study aimed to compare the effect of digital and printed multilingual dictionaries on young learners' literacy. Besides, it also explored students’ responses implementation those dictionaries. To achieve study's objectives, researchers followed a sequential mixed method that started with quantitative qualitative method. There were two classes involved in this study. Those selected using matching technique. One class was treated as an experimental class, while other control class. collect data, used literacy test for questionnaire, interview guide The data analyzed statistically independent t-test, interactive analysis model. confirmed dictionary better than dictionary. results questionnaire supported finding learners had positive toward use both dictionary, however they affirmed more interesting could help them English vocabulary pronunciations.
